Hey guys!
Sorry I didn’t get to posting this earlier! Anywho..

So, there we were Monday in Seattle, picking up a weekly, we saw
that ‘Flogging Molly’ was playing on Tuesday. “Cool!” I thought, a lot of
my friends are really into them, so I thought I’d check them out. Greg
wasn’t so hot on them. Later I noticed that Michael Moore was speaking, as
part of his ‘Slacker Uprising Tour 2004′ at the Key Center (where the NBA
Sonics & WNBA Champions play). The best part of the night was before we
went in, there were Bush Supporters, then Kerry supports, and 2 separate
booths of Nader supporters! As well as people supporting
Instant Runoff Voting in WA, and
the “No” on the Monorail Recall Initiatives.
FASCINATING, Fabulous. (And of course peddlers, stickers, shirts, etc..)
So, back to the point, that guy that I’ve never been quite a fan of. There
was somebody outside handing out the stuff that nobody ever thinks about:

5 Questions for Mr. Moore
1. In your film, Bowling for Columbine, you expose an American populace
gripped by fear. Why are you now asking citizens to vote for Kerry out of
fear of Bush?

2. Presidential candidate, Ralph Nader has recently challenged you to a
debate. Despite your support of Nader in 2000, you are now urging citizens
to abandon the third parties and vote for Kerry. Would you be willing to
defend your positions in an official debate with Ralph Nader?

3. On your web site, in your movies, and in your books, your sympathies
towards the soldiers in Iraq are clear. With over 1,000 US soldiers dead,
how will Kerry’s commitment to prolong and escalate the war prevent further
casualties and deaths?

4. How can you reassure us that Kerry will be open to progressive and
anti-war influences once in office, when he appears to be taking the
progressive vote for granted by moving his position steadily to the right?

5. In your movies, books and speeches, you vehemently have spoken out
against the war, the [USA] patriot act, & NAFTA. Can you please explain why
you are now urging concerned citizens to support a candidate that voted for
these very things?

[END Q's] So, there! I didn’t realize he doesn’t answer questions, and
(ironically enough?) after listening to Moore I went from undecided to
steadfast in supporting Nader. Partially because of the way he talked about
Nader, and encouraged the audience to “Boo”/etc the vocal Nader supporters
in the audience. Disgusting. Moore had some good stuff to say, but the
innuendo and emotion he plays on.. “Homey dont play dat.” He has a lot of
potential, due to his power. *Sigh*

Greg talked about how he supported people pirating “Farenheit 9/11,” which I
suppose shows what a good influence he is. If he was that serious about
putting the information out there, he would have made the DVD, and the text
of his books, available on the Internet, FREE FOR ALL. Nope! It’s still
all about the almighty dollar. He’s definitely played a big role in the
election, both in making people (like me) who may have voted for Kerry not,
and in making people think that Kerry had it in a lock because “everyone”
(the majority of the population) was with “us,” supported “our” values, as
represented by polls. (Polls? Reference: Mark Twain.)
hmmmmmmm…
